The history of KVINT dates back to 1897, when the first rectification warehouse was built and launched into operation on Vokzalnaya Street in Tiraspol. At that time it was specialized in production of 40% alc. vodka from homemade grape wines purchased from the peasants of nearby villages. Although the production of brandies was started 4 decades later (first wine-distilled spirits were put for ageing in 1938), nowadays the beverages under the label KVINT are among the most popular on the C.I.S. market and in many other parts of the world. Being the modern and well-equipped enterprise, possessing the latest state-of-the-art machinery, our distillery still maintains an age-old traditions and trade secrets of making the best beverages, whose closely guarded recipes are handed down by winemakers from generation to generation. KVINT pays paramount attention to the quality of its products. At KVINT they have long come to understanding that the best way to produce the top quality products is to use completely natural organic raw materials. Such approach enables KVINT products to be competitive with most prestigious world brands. Since 2000 the Tiraspol Distillery KVINT has the Quality Management System ISO:9001 certified by BVQI. Every year the Distillery outputs more than 20 million bottles of alcoholic beverages. This includes over 70 brands of hard liquors and wines, more than 30 brands of brandies, aged from 3 to 50 years, each standing out for its taste and bouquet, as well as attractive modern design. To ensure its future development, in the recent years the company planted more than 1000 hectares of new vineyards in Dubossary region, about 500 hectares in Kamenka region, and 2000 more hectares were allocated for further plantations in the next few years.

Kvint VS brandy is made from “eaux-de-vie” spirits having average age 5 years, seasoned in oak barrels. Its colour ranges from light golden to amber. It stands out for full harmonious taste and complex bouquet with floral hints. At international contests it was awarded 6 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals.

 


Kvint VSOP brandy is produced by the Tiraspol Wine & Cognac Distillery KVINT since 1959 from “eaux-de-vie” spirits seasoned for at least 8 years according to classical “French methode”. The taste is very delicate and rarely balanced with extraordinary smoothness, which emphasizes an exquisite nature of this brandy.


Kvint XO brandy was first produced by the Tiraspol Wine & Cognac Distillery KVINT in 1967 as a dedication to the jubilee of the October Revolution. It is made from the premium quality “eaux-de-vie” spirits seasoned in oak barrels not less than 20 years according to classical “French methode”. A glass with this brandy is a virtually a particle of the sun locked in a crystal vessel. This impression is enhanced by a rich, well-developed bouquet and a full, harmonious, mellow taste with delicate aroma. The highest quality of this brandy can be evidenced by its prizes: a Grand Prix Cup, 8 gold and 1 silver medals. 

Kvint Surprise XO brandy is produced by the Tiraspol Distillery KVINT from “eaux-de-vie” spirits seasoned in oak barrels for at least 25 years according to classical “French methode”.  It took a great skill from the winemakers to produce this brandy and they invested in it a part of their soul. This brandy has very complex bouquet combining aromas of blossoming vineyards and fragrance of autumn oak-wood. At international contests it has won a Super Grand Prix Cup, 12 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals.
