Back in 1997, we began our journey to introduce quality craft beer to the Ontario marketplace. What started as a mere hobby quickly turned into an award-winning brewery. Today, CAMERON'S remains true to its roots with a dedicated team of beer experts committed to brewing delicious, quality, locally crafted beer.
CAMERON'S DEVIATOR DOPPELBOCK BOURBON BARREL AGED
Cameron’s Deviator Doppelbock (Bourbon Barrel Aged) is a unique brew that is based on our previous award-winning Doppelbock releases.  It is 8.6% ABV and best served 8–10 C in a tapered glass such as a snifter. Doppelbocks are Teutonic-inspired dark lagers that feature imported German malt and were served by the Bavarian monks during times of fasting as “liquid bread.” This version of Cameron’s Deviator Doppelbock has been aged for six months in Kentucky bourbon barrels. This process lends to a smooth, toasted vanilla notes, and layered upon the complex malty body.
Chris Schryer, from The Toronto Beer Blog, described it as follows “This produced an aroma which is huge, with clear bourbon notes… vanilla and oaky but without significant alcohol heat. The bourbon is fragrant, but very much in the background. As the beer warms, everything become more pronounced, but especially the vanilla, which becomes an enticing perfume when poured into the glass. Just a magnificent beer, clean and complicated. Great as an after-dinner brew, or while sitting around a campfire.

CAMERON'S UNBLENDED DEVIATOR DOPPELBOCK VINTAGE 2012
A deep ruby body with a mocha lingering head. Heavy aromas of oak, vanilla and rich chocolate sit on a soft yet firm body of bourbon, chocolate coffee and toasted malt. It drinks with a complexity of age and character and finishes with a tangy twist.
