Echeverria Gran Reserva Syrah
Vineyard:
•Valley: Aconcagua Valley (Andes)
•Soil: Clay and sandy to the east; granite and clay to the west
•Altitude: 243m above sea level.
Vinification:
•Fermented to dryness in 12,000 to 15,000 liters open stainless steel tanks for 8 days at 24-28°C controlled temperature with selected yeasts
•Extended skin maceration for additional 10 days 100% malolactic fermentation
•Aged in 225-liter French oak barrels for 12 months
Tasting Notes: Deep garnet red with violet gleams. A highly aromatic Syrah with aromas of berry fruits such as blackberries, blueberries and raspberries. Hints of bitter chocolate combine nicely with notes of black pepper, cinnamon and tobacco. A well-balanced mouth feels with a long and juicy finish.
Echeverria Gran Reserva Carmenere
Vineyard:
•Valley: Curicó Valley (Entre Cordilleras)
•Soil: Alluvial in origin. Clay loam with the presence of stones at 80 cm. Fertile soils allow the vines to express all their vegetative and fruit potential.
•Altitude: 243m above sea level.
Vinification:
•Fermented to dryness in 15,000-liter stainless steel tanks for 10 days at 25-28°C with selected yeasts. Extended skin maceration for an additional 6 days
•100% malolactic fermentation
•Aged in 225-liter French used barrels between 10 and 12 months
Tasting Notes : Garnet red with violet gleams. Combines intense aromas of ripe cherries and blackberries, with hints of red bell peppers, dried fruit and spices. Smooth and full-bodied, it has a round and delicate mouthful due to its oak-ageing. An extremely rich and velvety wine from this Chile’s signature grape variety.
Echeverria Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon
Vineyard:
Valley: Maipo Valley (Entre Cordilleras)
The vineyards are located in Maipo Alto in the Central Valley. Alto Maipo reaches into the foothills and produces some of Chile’s leading Cabernet Sauvignons. Central Maipo is one of the country’s oldest and most diverse productive regions.
Vinification:
•Fermented to dryness in 25,000-liter stainless steel tanks for 7-10 days at 25-28°C controlled temperature with selected yeasts
•Extended skin maceration for additional 6-8 days
•100% malolactic fermentation
•Aged in 225-liter French oak barrels for between 10 and 12 months
Tasting Notes: Intense aromas of red cherries and black pepper with a smoky, earthy background. In the mouth, this is a medium-bodied wine with mellow, fresh tannins and lingering notes of eucalyptus, with a delicious and persistent finish.
Echeverria Gran Reserva Sauvignon Blanc
Vineyard:
•Valley: Casablanca Valley (Costa) Chile’s first cool-climate coastal region, located 75km (47 miles) northwest of Santiago. Cool Mediterranean climate with pronounced maritime influence.
•Soils: clay and sandy soils. Proximity to the ocean creates cool foggy mornings ideal for top quality Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.
Vinification:
•Careful selection of grapes before crushing
•2-4 hours skin contact maceration at 8-10°C
•Only free-run juice from pneumatic pressing and 24-36 hours static sedimentation at 8C prior to fermentation
•Fermented in stainless steel tanks at 11-17°C controlled temperature for 25 days and stored over fine lees for 2 months with selected yeasts
Tasting Notes: Bright yellow with light green hues. This vibrant Sauvignon Blanc combines aromas of fresh herbs, asparagus and green apples with hints of green pepper. The palate is fresh and crisp, with racy acidity and a fruity finish.
Echeverria Cabernet Sauvignon Limited Edition
Vineyard:
•Valley: Central Valley (Entre Cordilleras), from carefully selected grapes of the Curicó Valley and Maipo Valleys Curicó Valley
•Soil: Alluvial in origin. Clay loam with the presence of stones at 80cm. Fertile soils allow the vines to express all their vegetative and fruit potential.
•Altitude: 243m above sea level.
Vinification:
•Fermented in 12.000-liter stainless steel vats for 8-10 days at 25-28ºC controlled temperature, with selected yeasts.
•Extended skin maceration for additional 10-15 days.
•100% malolactic fermentation.
•Aged in 225-liter French oak barrels for 14 months.
•The wine is blended and returned to barrels for 6 additional months.
Tasting Notes: This rich and unique wine is full of concentrated aromas like cherries, blackberries and plums, which are highlighted by notes of black pepper and spices. A dash of menthol and dark chocolate add complexity to the palate. Round and well balanced, this wine has a lengthy, elegant and generous finish.
