Origin: The Pinot Noir is produced from a vineyard located on the western plains of Corsica between Bastia and Porto Vecchio.
Color: Like many a pinot noir, the Rare Bird pinot is a lustrous, translucent ruby fading to salmon at the edges
Nose: Very fresh smelling with hints of cranberry, earth, greenery and slight flowery overtones
Palate: Wonderful, light mouth feel with good but not strong tannins. Excellent flavors of fruit with no overpowering alcohol heat
Finish: Sweeping and clean with few lingering flavors
This is a marvelous little wine that's versatile enough to be paired with many different meals from soups and pastas to sandwiches, and some grilled steaks.

Rare Bird Chardonnay - 100% Chardonnay
Designation: VIN DE PAYS D'OC
Origin: The vineyards of Oc, range from the shores of the Mediterranean to the Cévennes hills, from the Rhône delta to the Pyrenees. This wine comes exclusively from the Limoux area.
Color: Clear and brilliant, slightly golden yellow with faint green highlights.
Nose: Very expressive with notes of acacia flowers, fresh butter, pineapples
and tropical fruit, also wood from oak barrels.
Palate: Round and pleasing wine, finely balanced, with notes of grapefruit and vanilla.
Recommendations: Great wine that will go very well with grilled fish, white meat, poultry and also with some types of cheese.
