Scotto Family Cellars Chardonnay  
Varietal Composition :  Chardonnay 78%, Marsanne 22%
Vineyard Sources : The Cosumnes River AVA is our primary source for Chardonnay. The warm mornings are usually followed by cool, windy afternoons. The 30-year old vineyards are planted with the Wente clone.
Tasting Notes : Full-bodied and dry with the tropical fruit and crisp complexity of Chardonnay and body, structure and longevity from Marsanne.
Enjoy with fish (including sushi/sashimi and especially salmon seasoned with lemon), chicken, turkey, risotto and white sauced pastas. Medium bodied Medium bodiedcheeses and lightly spiced appetizers and Asian foods are also appealing companions.
     
Scotto Family Cellars Malbec  
Varietal Composition : Malbec 97%, Cabernet Franc 3%
Vineyard Sources : A combination of Malbec  from 20-year old vineyards in the stone laden, well  drained soils of the Borden  Ranch AVA and the Clements Hill AVA in the warm, rolling terrain at the base of the Sierra Foothills.
Tasting Notes : Plush flavors and aromas of Fresh, ripe blackberries plums, blackberries and dominate the aroma and raspberries with licorice and flavor profile. Ready to chocolate accents; smooth, enjoy now but bottle aging gentle tannins.
Pairs well with red meats and game, roasted or from the grill, as well as BBQ. It is medium bodied and vinified to match a wide range of foods.  
   
Scotto Family Cellars Old Vine Zinfandel 
Varietal Composition :  Old Vine Zinfandel 100%
Vineyard Sources : 50-year old vines in the fine, sandy soils of the Mokelumne River AVA provide the fruit for this signature varietal. These older vines and clones lead to wines with intense flavors and firm tannins.
Tasting Notes : Fresh, ripe blackberries plums, blackberries and dominate the aroma and raspberries with licorice and flavor profile. Ready to chocolate accents; smooth, enjoy now but bottle aging gentle tannins. will add to the complexity.
This medium bodied, well balanced wine pairs well with red meats and game, roasted or from the grill, as well as spicy sandwiches. The acidity cuts through heavier, fattier foods including hearty stews and roast duck.
     
Scotto Family Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon  
Varietal Composition : Cabernet Sauvignon 78%, Barbera 18%, Petite Verdot 4%
Vineyard Sources : Cabernet from mature vineyards in Lodi' s Alta Mesa "high table" AVA, Borden Ranch AVA and Clements Hill AVA. Barbera and Petite Verdot from family owned Lodi vineyards.
Tasting Notes : Rich flavors of dark berries, oak spice, vanilla and very smooth tannins. An unusually food friendly Cabernet.
Pairs well with red meats and game, roasted or from the grill, as well as BBQ. It is medium bodied and vinified to match a wide range of foods.
