Serafina is a 1st generation winery from a 5th generation winemaker.   Celebrating our 4th Anniversary in 2014 here in Amador County we are honored to showcase our classic Italian and Rhone style wines in our tasting room.  Our family has a long history of winemaking and wine appreciation beginning when my great grandfather immigrated to the east coast from Italy in 1903.
Serafina is Italian for “fine evening” and there are many of those here in Amador County. The stars that fill the evening sky inspired our winery name and label design, and we hope that a glass of Serafina will inspire you, too.

Serafina Barbera - Black cherries, exotic spices, and scents of vanilla blossoms…you may find all of these in the nose and taste.  Pair with Italian sausage, tri-tip, pasta with meat sauces, cheeses, and smoked nuts.

Serafina Malvasia Bianca - This ancient grape is filled with exotic floral perfumes and ginger spice aromas.  We call this our “sexy Moscato”.  Just off dry, it is a refreshing alternative to traditional white wines and pairs well with spicy snacks, full flavored seafood, Asian and Latin meals and sandwiches.
