The region of Yambol is characterized by maroon forest soils - soils with great power and light mechanical content. The climate is transcontinental with continuous sunshine in the summer and mild and warm in the autumn, providing well ripened grapes and accumulation of the necessary qualities for the production of quality wines. In the lands of Troyanovo village, Burgas District, there is a vineyard of 2000 decares of white wine grape varieties - Sauvignon Blanc, Ugni Blanc, Viognier, Prosecco and Muscat Ottonel.
The region is characterized with averagely leached black fertile soils offering good aeration. With regards to the climate, the region is within the climatic region of the Eastern Stara Planina mountain – a transcontinental climatic region with average annual temperature of 12,2 °C and annual rainfall of 539 mm.
