The Crimean oldest winery Massandra has been producing fine wines for more than 110 years and has won international acclaim for their exceptional quality. The winery was built in 1894 – 1897 near Yalta, Crimea. The subtropical air climate of the region and the protective shields of mountain chains create unique conditions for the production of high quality fortified and dessert wines, which combined with the extraordinary architectural merit of the cellars, have earned Massandra a position as one of Ukraine's nationally important sites. In the late 19-th century Prince Lev Golitzin was appointed to manage the production process at the winery. An extremely accomplished winemaker, Golitzin devoted himself to developing the wines that suited the region best, and these wines define Massandra output today.
Massandra Red Stone Muscat Dessert White
This refined wine was called King of Muscat wines. It was awarded with 21international golden medals, 4 Grand Prix Cups and 1 silver medal. One of the most favorable micro regions for making dessert and liqueur Muscat wines lies near the rock of Red Stone in the region of Gurzuf. The wine is made from the White Muscat grapes and is unique by its bouquet and palate. The color of the wine is a miraculous golden color, which after ageing is becoming amber golden.
The bouquet of wine is fine varietal nose, saturated with aroma of tea rose, honey hints of blooming Alpine meadows and orange peel. Massandra Black Muscat Dessert Red

Massandra Kagor South Coast Dessert Red
The production of this high quality Kagors started in 1933. Made of Saperavi (old Georgian grape variety). The color of the wine is intensive ruby with purple hues, hardly transparent. The bouquet of the wine is very complex, varietal, with flavors of cream and black currants. Under many year of ageing the wine develops beautiful hints of coffee, chocolate, vanilla in its nose. The palate of the wine is powerful, extractive, with a soft tannin note and velvet, as well as with a rich mélange of prunes, currants, cream and chocolate. Ageing period is 3 years
Massandra Muscat Dessert White
The wine produced since 1940 from white Muscat grapes harvested from coastal areas when sugar content is not less than 26%. Prior to bottling wine is aged two years in oak barrels in the cool mountain tunnels of the main plant. Bottled wine contains 20% sugar and alcohol - 16 ".
Color - light amber with a golden hue. Bouquet with a strong, distinctive Muscat flavor, lightly circling his head. The taste is full, harmonious, gentle.

Massandra Muscat Dessert Rose
Produce is a dessert wine since 1944. Used for the preparation of grape varieties Muscat rose that grows in the southern areas with slate soils. Made of White Kokour local grape variety. Wine has golden-amber color. The bouquet is spicy, complex and harmonious. The palate is full with honey flower of aroma of Alpine meadows. Period of ageing is 2 years.
