Coquito Trigo is made out of 100% Coconut Cream based liqueur traditionally served in Puerto Rico. It is made with 1 year old rum, coconut milk, sweet condensed milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. The drink was commonly associated with the Christmas holidays, where it was traditionally served along with other holiday food. This is the Only Coquito certified by the government of Puerto Rico.
Coquito Le-Lo-Lai is a generic version of Coquito, it is less expensive because it uses white rum liquor NOT AGED and it’s creamier with less coconut.
Le-Lo-Lai is one of the best-selling Coquito in Puerto Rico and is the perfect drink during the holidays and for the entire year, served over ice or chilled.
