Initially created more than 20 years ago, Rince Cochon was updated for modern tastes three years ago; since then, it has been at the front of the stage in the specialty beer category. Its unbeatable taste and incomparable look mean that it attracts a very wide audience. It is an authentic specialty beer: blonde ale with 8.5% ABV, golden, mild and full-bodied, lightly spiced with a slightly bitter finish. It should be drink very cold and, whenever possible, in its glass with sculpted stem.In the past, this beer was brewed by SPA under the name of « The Rince Cochon », it is now brewed by the Haacht Brasserie, in Belgium, such as Primus or Tongerlo beers.
The character of this strong lager lies in a pale-yellow body that usually evokes light Pils. Yet, it has a 8.5° ABV, making it very different from Pils and other Lagers. It also displays a white medium head that has a good retention on the glass rim.
