Shabo Kagor Desert red wine
Varieties: Cabernet-Sauvignon and other European red grape varieties
Region: Ukraine, Odessa region, Belgorod-Dniester zone, Shabo village
Produced from grapes harvested from vines reaching the optimal level of maturity that grow on Shabo sites with favorable microclimate and soil with high quality characteristics. The load on a vine is controlled, ranging between 1.8 and 2.8 kg of grapes per cluster. Grapes are harvested by hand, and 15 minutes later, they are already at the grape receipt and processing facility where they undergo sorting. After that are the vinification using new-generation equipment and blending with aged wines. To preserve the freshness and rich varietal flavor range, the wine is stored in state-of-the-art stainless steel reservoirs with controlled temperature.
Tasting Notes: The deep dark garnet color highlights complex round harsh taste with prune, chocolate and black current tones.
